The old and new parts of the town are separated by a narrow isthmus. In the summer it is a favorite place for walks of the guests and residents of Nessebar. One of the symbols of the town is the windmill, which is located in the middle of the isthmus. The peninsula on which the Old Nessebar is situated is included by UNESCO in the List of World Heritage Sites. During the summer, concerts and many other events are organised in the ancient theatre of the Old Town. Behind it is the sea station of Nessebar, where cruise ships can often be seen during the active summer season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also plenty of restaurants in the area serving superb seafood dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
